About the Centre

IIOE National Centre at University of Nairobi

Established in 2023, the IIOE National Centre at the University of Nairobi serves as the East African hub for open digital education. We partner with universities, teachers colleges, and government bodies across Kenya to advance ICT literacy and AI competency in education.

Our programmes are delivered in English and Kiswahili, ensuring accessibility for educators across urban and rural Kenya. We offer nationally recognized certifications endorsed by Kenya's Ministry of Education.
